Do you work on older homes?
Absolutely. We specialize in updating older electrical systems, including Federal Pacific panels, aluminum wiring, and outdated outlets while keeping your home safe and code-compliant.
What services do you offer?
We handle EV charger installation, electrical panel upgrades, hot tub & spa wiring, recessed lighting, smoke & CO alarms, attic fan repair (no installs), ceiling fans, outlet & switch repairs, and general electrical troubleshooting.
Do you offer emergency services after hours?
No. JGB Electric does not provide emergency services outside of our standard business hours: Monday–Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM. For after-hours electrical emergencies, please contact your local emergency services or utility company.
EV Charger Installation
A Level 2 charger often needs a dedicated 40–60 amp circuit. Many local homes are still on 100-amp service. We check that first so you don’t buy a charger your panel can’t support.
Electrical Safety Inspection
Detailed safety inspections perfect for homeowners, homebuyers, and peace of mind. Warm outlets, buzzing breakers, and lights that dim when the AC starts are overload or connection problems. Those are inspection items, not DIY fixes.
Electrical Panel Upgrades
If your home was built between the 1950s and 1980s, you may have a Federal Pacific or Zinsco panel. These breakers can fail to trip. We identify them during a standard inspection and tell you plainly.
